Blue wings - prerequisites?

What of our newer cadets recently went on there first AEF. This cadet has been in for about a year, maybe a little less. They are a first class cadet.

However, although they got their certificate, the boss has an email asking him to confirm a variety of details for that cadet. I can’t remember what they all are off the top of my head (not heard of many before), but I’m sure one with airframes.

Does this mean to get the blue wings the cadet needs to be leading??

The prerequisites to be awarded Blue Wings are

• Passed Flying Operations of First Class
• Completed a session on a Flight SIM with an Approved Deliverer of the Blue Wings Synthetic Training
• Gone flying in a Tutor or Viking.

The Blue ATP consists of the Flying Operations element of First Class
Cadet training syllabus; an initial (Sortie 1), AEF flight module. Whilst the preferred
sequence is Flying Operations – GBTE syllabus – Air Sortie, the training objectives
can be achieved in all variations of delivery sequence. Successful completion of
Sortie 1 will lead to the award of the Blue Aviation Training Package (ATP) Badge.

Award of Blue ATP Badge. Ideally, the 3 elements leading to the award
of the Blue ATP Badge should be accomplished in the sequence: Flying Ops,
GBTE and GIF. In practice, though, cadets may complete the requirements in
any order. Cadets who successfully complete all 3 elements will be awarded
the Blue ATP Badge and certificate.
