Do u usually get awarded the badge instantly after the aef in a tutor. I am aware you need to do PTT at ur local VGS
Depends if the cadet can provide evidence they have met the criteria…but more importantly if they actually have badges.
With our cadets who had done PTT and a flight. The badges were sent within a few weeks as they didn’t have any to issue. But it’s better to have them sent so the cadets get the awkward presentation on final parade when they don’t expect it. They are the ones that make the best pics to post for parents to see 
The VGS are supposed to award them. However when I took some cadets recently, the VGS had none and I’ve had to have some ordered through wing.
