For people who have completed the drone little rissington course and gained their gvc etc are they required to also do the blue drone instructor course to be able to deliver the blue course?
I suspect the problem here is this doesn’t exist. Unless the ACTO has changed recently, any CFAV with their own flyer ID can instruct blue (provided all the practical site clearances are in place etc). Therefore (again unless it’s changed recently) there’s no standard for it.
Some regional RPAS leads just seem to like to do their own extra stuff…
Yes it is our regional officer that has put up the course and I didn’t think it was compulsory
