Hi all, I’m going flying on Tuesday next week and I’m down for PTT on Wednesday and I know this will result in me gaining my blue ‘A’ wings. And later on in the week there’s a bronze PTT after I’ve completed bronze PTT how can I gain my bronze wings after that.
3 more AEF flights or whatever the gliding world does as an equivalent.
So I need to have been AEF 4 times to achieve bronze wings , seems abit unrealistic most cadets only get to fly once or twice in years of cadet service
I absolutely agree.

Dare I ask how silver and gold are achieved
You can get more than one lesson done in a flight. I know someone who completed lessons 2-4 in one flight to get their bronze.
Silver A wings is the Nav scholarship.
Gold A wings is the Flying Scholarship.
Silver G is gliding scholarship
Gold G is advanced glider training (you need to be a staff cadet on a VGS)
More chance of seeing a unicorn then.
