I am about to be promoted to an adult flt sgt. Was wondering if anyone had some classic quotes l for when cadets or staff call ylou by your old rank.? Or other such occasions.
Ah yes, old rank…I often get called “adult flight sergeant”. I’ve been a “Flight Sergeant (ATC)” for over 5 years 
No sure how either of these comments help. Amy quotes I could use would be helpfull.
Ie when asked for a pen I say do I look like a stationary cupboard.
Something along those lines ?

That’s not a particularly helpful response and certain won’t endear you to the cadets or staff.
If you’re after witty repartee then there’s plenty of quotes out there but it does tend to be very individualistic so be warned as you don’t want to get the reputation as the staff member who thinks their funny.
