I see there is a CIs conference planned to be held at Cranditz in the next couple of months.
What can we do to ensure that every last one of them turns up wearing a brown overcoat with a pipe clenched 'twixt their teeth?
Sorry, many of us do not smoke!
I hope the brown coat comes complete with armband and a row of pens in the top pocket.
You needn’t actually smoke the pipe; merely clench it.
We got the email about this, I asked who was interested among the CIs and only one was and therefore my nomination and it’s one per wing selected by Wing from those nominated, so it will be like a broken pencil.
From my experience there are about ½ dozen CIs in our Wing who would be quite lively, so unlikely to be one of them. I can’t see a Wing Cdr sending anyone who is likely to get stuck in.
I like the idea of brown coats and armbands, nominated individuals should get them issued.

I’m sending one of mine, he was the only volunteer in the wing so they had no choice. He is more than likely going to get stuck in, I doubt they would have picked him if they had a choice.

I don’t know about Brown, but there is a Dark Blue one on issue…
