Im about to turn 18 soon and there is a avip course in november would i need to still attend this even though with all of the changes that has happened with staff cadets?
Not if you intend to remain as a cadet; ACTO 99 mandatory training requirements are not necessary unless you wish to transition to CFAV.
You need DBS, BPSS, and sign a thing.
