just in case anyone hasn’t heard…

short version: a member of the RAF was jogging near/next the station yesterday, headphones in, minding his own, when two men of Asian appearance came out of a car, one of whom was carrying a knife - they attempted to bundle the serviceman into the car (blue people carrier - Galaxy type thing) but he fought one off, the other went to help his mate and presumably sod off quick style and the Marham chap got on his toes to get away ASAP.

Marham have advised all Military, civil servants and contractors to avoid looking like they belong to the base, and to not be on their own if they can help it.

How about boring, cautious stuff?

Switch on, be a bit more aware, don’t wear uniform to or from cadets particularly if you’re on your own.

You know, copy what the RAF have managed to put out to their people in the space of a few hours…
