What are the requirements of being in a pipe band? / do you have to be Scottish?

You have to be a piper or a drummer, and a member of the RAFAC. That is all I believe.

The National Pipes & Drums is open to anyone in the Corps (staff or cadet). As well as those hailing from Scotland, they do have contingents from London & South East Region, Northumberland and Yorkshire.
