AT Camp Windermere

Hi all,

I have manged to get a spot on a AT camp at NACATC Windermere in a few weeks time. However, being the first cadet in my squadron to go to this particular place that I can remember, I am a bit short of infomation. Could anyone share any knowledge about the sorts of activities I would be partaking in and the accomodation centre itself? (I understand it has been recently refurbished).

It varies from Wing to Wing, but generally some combination of:

Paddlesport
Climbing (indoor and/or outdoor)
Mountain Walking
Orienteering
Gorge Walking
Mountain Biking
High Ropes course

There’s usually a wide range of things going on, get stuck in and give everything a go, you’ll enjoy it.
