Astra Clothing Programme

More of interest because of the update in sizing (a new 150cm height and 5 instead of 8cm chest increments)

New MTP shirt

I realise the RAF don’t issue these but we are permitted to wear as private purchase.

Certainly better than the lightweight jacket for use on base.

i jest - if it is just a change in sizes available then great and excellent to hear that the pockets will be scaled in proportion too!

Is a hyperlink not good enough for you Sir?

i can follow the link - but there are no photos of the “change” - but then i read the article and realised there is nothing “new” to look at it is just the sizes that are available

You’d not see anything anyways as it’s camouflage

It could offer a solution for smaller cadets though.

Does anyone know anything more about the supply of working blue shirts or uniform more generally? Are Sqns getting supplies from parent stations?

Where do they get these journalists?

“The older MTP PCS Barrack Shirt was based upon the old CS95 DPM shirt that many will remember from the 80s through to the early 2000s.”

The clue is in the name…

No.

Parent station refusing to supply us anything or kit out new staff.

Not clothing.
But I have just been told that MOD has put a stop on all ration pack issuing to cadet forces. This is expected to last for several months. Possibly longer.

Reason given.
There is currently no supplier for ORPs…

Couldnt make it up.

Got some kit a couple weeks ago from Halton!

I’ve been told same.

Which comes back to point in other thread about hoarding.

We’ve been getting new stuff, so I’m assuming Shawbury is open for business.

Yes, we collected a huge order from Halton a couple of weeks ago and have submitted another via Wing HQ last night with confirmation from Stores at Halton today that they will give me a call when it is ready to collect.

We need this uniform in the ATC!

No clue on the legitimacy of this…

Most of the looks like utter crap developed by a failing first year BTEC fashion student. I’m really hoping it’s a troll

Controversial opinion time: why not get rid of headdress for everything other than ceremonial/PPE wear. Would save a small fortune on uniform at the drop of a hat.

Edit: unintentional dad joke level pun at the end there. But I’m leaving it in and there’s nothing you can do to stop me

100% not legit.

I actually don’t mind the jacket…

My personal fave…
