AP1358C Update

Apparently AP1358C version 1.04 had recently come out and I know that it has been released to Ultilearn and not Bader.
My question is has anyone found the most up to date version online? :?
Any reply would be appreciated.

V1.04 Amended 4 Dec 13 by FS Moss ATF and published 5 Dec 13

Summary of additions in v1.04

[ul]
[li]Personal Clothing System (PCS) Combat Uniform (CU) will be referred to as PCS-MTP throughout this document.[/li]
[li]0417. Mayor’s Badge.
On appointment a nominated cadet may be issued with a badge of office by the local mayor. Should such an issue be made, then the badge is to be worn centrally on its own brassard. This brassard is to contain no other badges and is worn on the left arm. It is to be worn at all times throughout the tenure of office. (Image Pending).[/li]
[li]Rank slides for the No 2, 3, 6 and 7 SD and Outerwear.
The bottom row of Blue Composite Braid should be at the base of the epaulette, for Plt Off and Fg Off the braid should be mounted centrally on a backing material matching the host garment. All must incorporate the Gilt VRT Insignia. [/li]
[/ul]

These are the sole changes highlighted in Red.

I wonder in which decade we’ll be told via bader it has been updated.

I feel very smug about my MTP backed rank slides right about now…

Yet still they’ve not figured out that it is a good idea to include the revision number in the filename!

Excellent. Simple wording that will silence the biffs!
No more shall some renegade WOs berate Officers for wearing what they perceive as ‘DPM rank slides’.

It has only taken a decade or so!

Now all that is needed are a couple more photos of Plt Off/Fg Off braid on various backings and we can thoroughly put that one to bed.

No more shall some renegade WOs berate Officers for wearing what they perceive as ‘DPM rank slides’.
Had that been the only paragraph, you can guarantee that those same throbbers would have argued that MTP/DPM wasn’t the appropriate colour!

But the paragraph quoted above removes any ambiguity. I might laminate it and carry it around with me in case I need to defend any baby pilot officers from predatory WOs.

Although, now that I think about it…

The next sub-paragraph says:

“DPM Lightweight Combat Suit (L/W Jacket & Trousers. No shoulder epaulettes, blue rank slides only are worn on the front rank epaulette.”

Given that the previous para re the field jacket makes a distinction, the biffs will probably assume that because the same wording is not contained here it means that rank on the LW jacket is to be backed on blue.

In fact the update is so lacking in ambiguity you’d almost think it was written by a lawyer, certainly does exactly what it needed to.

luckily, the phrase ‘blue rank slides’ has been defined in the no3 uniform breakdown pages on DPM and MTP.

I’m suffering very intermittent online comms away from work at the moment (fix due after thE new year !) and work is heavily locked down. Could someone be so kind to inform me what the present status of the SNCO ‘TRP’ and the AIRCADET patch on the PCS?
I know it might be in the APs but smart phone have their limits…
Thanks

Fortunately the wording in .0428 would seem to clarify matters
