One of the best lacrosse refs I’ve run with is a woman. She could control the Iroquois and USA teams like no one else.
Certainly changed my opinion on female refs in male sports.

WOs are not scary. They are all just desperate for a hug, give them a quick cuddle and it completely disarms them.
