RTS is now ten weeks…
Minor change! 
In the good old days, it was 6 weeks at Swinderby, off to Finningley, 6 weeks on the AAITC, then acting sgt. It was, IIRC, about one year at Finningley before graduation.
Don’t forget that the pre-requisite selection to pass the OASC board beforehand…
A good laugh, when I ended up at advanced pilot training at Finningley a few years later, it was as an FO wearing an AE brevet. Of course, why should I should I let on that I was a student, not a member of staff?! :evil:
