There will be answers in ACP 18 Vol. 1 and possibly the old SECR.

Ir’s every 3 yrs & there is a specific servicing certificate that the provider has to action.

Earlier this year with BSA - email pec@bsaguns.com - costs:

One rifle service at the moment is 58.50 £ + VAT.

One parcel one way postage is 10.50 £ + VAT. (3 rifles can be packed in one parcel)

Due to Royal Mail protocols, any packaged rifles can be collected from someone’s house but for return, they MUST go to a registered firearms dealer.

Thanks for that, will need to find a gunsmith that can do the CZ’/Air Arms S200’s

Which Wing are you? As have a contact in Kent for Air Arms

Unless the rifles in question are less than 3 yrs old, they should have been serviced every 3 yrs with associated receipt. (If someone had acted on the incorrect statement of your IOC, then every year!)

There should also have been a specific servicing certificate that had to go to to Wg Shoot O as confirmation that the servicing had covered the elements required by RAFAC.

Also, there should be an annual Wg Arms Muster - what other sqns listed on it have that type of rifle - where did they get theirs serviced?

They where done at a local gunsmith last May and they supplied an invoice with details of work and testing carried out.

The plan was to get them done early during the Christmas shutdown so we have a full year to use without having to send them in for servicing in May, with this info of a 3 year period we are good till 2028
