Hello all. I’m gonna get straight to the point. I have recently had Air Cadet Leadership badge “damaged” from an incident and need a replacement. I have looked all over google and I haven’t found anywhere to buy one like other badges. I asked my OC to see if he could contact someone who could help, but all he’s said is that he will try and mention it the next time he contacts Cranwell. This was over half a year ago and I have prompted him several times. If anyone can help, it would be very much appreciated. Additionally, my OC can be quite forgetful/unreliable and may not have actually mentioned it at all to anyone… thanks in advance =)

Can’t you ask another member of staff to ask at your Wg HQ? or phone your self? :slight_smile: They should be able to help.

I would agree with above post you should never need to buy anything like this

Thanks guys. I would call them, but I’m not sure what the number I need to phone is =P and we only have 2 and the other is rarely ever there =(

And I’m ok with spending a cough mildly large cough sum of money. But nobody sells it, not even ripodff cadet =(

I’ve had to re-order one of these for one of my cadets. HQAC (via the CoC) require your name, course number and the reason for replacement then one is issued.

I might be being really dumb here, but how do I do that? =P I am struggling to find any contact details for HQAC on the website =/

The clue is in CC2K12’s post - through your chain of command.

Ask your squadron staff.

thanks. I guess I’ll just have to keep trying then. If anyone knows a more direct way (without having to continuously pester forgetful staff =P ) then please mention, thanks.

Now you have the information, present it to them and say this is what you have to do. They might have already done it remember and the blockage could be elsewhere.
