Oh dear… a good response from ACC at least, being prompt and transparent with exactly what’s happened and what data is impacted - better than some I’ve seen (cough cough looking at you Canvas)

I’ve notification of from 3 other local ones to me (not because I donate, but because i some how made it on to their mailing list!).
Beacon is used by around 1500 charities…
I have been contacted directly about this breach as I fronted a funding request (which was successful) for one of the Squadrons in the sector I am responsible for. I am really impressed with the tone and content of their email and they are getting some great advice from a consultant (I suspect) on how to react and deal with this kind of incident. My details (RAFAC email and mobile) have likely been breached, along with other information relating to the unit involved - which is what it is because of the nature of the incident.
Maybe it is time to request a new number from my mobile provider

I’ve been notified of the same incident from another Charity, seems its going to be a big one.
Something to discuss at the upcoming gold cyber courses perhaps?

Apart from the ACC’s ( and not this glorious debating society) comment, has anything official been released.
