I was just wondering about the requirements for silver first aid as there was an event recently added which said “ Activity First Aid course open to all CFAVs. Staff cadets who require the qualification to support the running of Squadron or Wing activities may also apply. Priority will be given to CFAVs.” does this mean as a cadet who is 16 I can’t attend I’m just confused.
It may be that there is only certain accommodation available, so they are limiting the event to adults only? Or it might be that there has been a lack of AFA courses within your Wing, so they are heavily prioritising staff and staff cadets who require AFA to exercise their qualifications, such as AT instructors.
