Advice from the Bandies

Just got home from an Armistice event and was asked by the bandmaster whether there is a separate ATC/RAFAC march, as an old sweat she assumed I would know.

My reply was as far as I’m aware it’s the RAF March Past. She though has found a recording by RAF Central Band entitled “Marches of the Royal Air Force” and spotted a track “Call to Adventure” which seems similar to the Corps motto. Is this the correct piece or just a complete coincidence?

I still get a buzz from hearing the RAF March Past, but know that some branches have their own (Regt, Police, Nursing etc) does RAFAC?

Yes, we in fact do!

(Quite fun to play too, and sounds amazing in a band  )

Thanks, is it the same as Call to Adventure, to my ear they sound very similar but might not be, just called something different on different recordings.

They are two different pieces
As far as I’m aware, “Air Cadets” is the march past for the RAFAC/ATC
