Adj role

Hello!

I was wondering if someone could give me a list of the main forms I will be using in my role as adj?
and any other useful information too please

Thanks!

That’s a very broad question.

Have a quick scan through the titles in “key documents → forms” on SharePoint - that should give you a starting point.

Personally, I’d also have a scan through ACP and ACTO titles so you know where to find things. You might want to read through some - not to remember word for word, but so you can find things quickly. ACP 4, 5, 20, and 300 come to mind - others may have other recommendations.

Also, if you’re not already familiar with SMS, make yourself familiar with it.

Quite a lot of the role will depend on what your OC wants needs, and what things other staff are already covering.

For forms, it’s kind of a combination of all of them and none of them - because they’re all so specific, there’s only occasional circumstances that you actually have a need for them. Needs vary between units as well as some more regularly do certain things or ask their adj to do.

I would highlight the staff cadet and CFAV process and forms as particularly common though.

Have a look through as Squirrel says, but ACTOs and ACPs are definitely more valuable to spend a greater proportion of time getting familiar with because you’re more likely to need to refer to those in the moment as something crops up while running/planning activities.

ACP 20 is a good one. Just be glad that it’s about a third of the size it used to be!
