ACP 1358 - New Dress Regs

Ah the good old days

I remember working blue shirts with OG lightweights back in the day, too. It looked more air forcey than MTP with nothing more than a little patch to distinguish us from the Army.

I do want a commando jumper…but them the rules.

I have yet to see any rules specifying what warm kit can or cannot be worn with PCS.

Due to us “liberating” a load of ACF kit, we have the undershirts also. Lovely and warm on exercise.

Have to wear them under the shirt though, like the old school Norwegian…

Best not of kit I ever owned, i wish we could have them at work like the NYPD do

Just do it.

Early days it was about all you’d find, but I tend to see more temperate stuff these days.

I think I’ve got one of those somewhere. I do know I’ve still got my old Norgie.

Yeah i have Norgie in my car breakdown kit. Love that

Ditto my DPM waterproof jacket.
Probably worth more than the wife’s non ULEZ car

Looking at mine side by side I can’t see much difference in the jackets though the temperate trousers seem a bit heavier.

Apart from the insect treatment on the jacket, but that would only apply to new kit,
I don’t think it would be a huge issue from a CI point of view. More the fact that it’s 2 layers.

Are those the long sleeve light olive ones? Wondered if they are worth getting for colder range days.

If they are going to cost you anything, I wouldn’t bother - spend your shekels on softie jackets instead, they are far more flexible and usable.

For non-issued kit, everything not explicitly forbidden is permitted until told otherwise.

Yes, I’m including a pink and fluffy top hat, should you so wish to wear one.

I do, quite regularly. It’s logical and imho more comfy.

Historically I have said, “don’t care what you wear” just don’t get photographed!!!

The first rule.

Don’t get caught.

But i have a spidey sense for these things

Ha.

I did get my first, “perhaps you should cut your hair” yesterday in all fairness.

Just not from a wobbly.
