How do I teach a cadet how to do about turn on the march in less than 1 parade night? Their drill assessment is soon, and we are best friends(in cadets only) so I kinda wanna teach them as they r doing their assessment for first class(which i have), I js cannot teach it cuz I just auto do it. Ideally NCO’s answer, but anyone welcome.
Break the movement down innto parts with each part being numbered.
Start the movement with the left foot forward marching position.
Then teach the full 30inch pace with the right foot, then build up a movement at a time
The key is building in time to practice each part before adding parts tp the movement

AP818 has a guide that DIs teach off, if you go through and base your lesson on that (making it a bit more cadet friendly) then you should be good, its what ive done for quite some time teaching a flight of recruits

Also videos on the RAFAC Vimeo channel (linked off the Bader homepage)
I find it helps some cadets if they see the movement on the video before they try it themselves.
