864 DF forced to close

Not sure of background, but it seems that 864 (Marham) DF is closing.

Anyone know reasons? Lack of cadets or staff; who knows.

I can understand need as it’s stuck out in the sticks, but you would thought benefits would outweigh issues; but who knows.

Did you see the letter from their OC Wing regarding the closure?
While there is no detailed breakdown it does seem like a sum of various issues at the unit and at other units which has led to closure being his preferred option.
