"Non-solo flying course"

So, I’ve just looked at Flying Scholarships, and basically, the regs say

“To apply you’ll first have to complete your non-solo flying course and win your blue wings or, preferably, have achieved a gliding solo and gained your silver wings.”

Right. Now what is a “Non-Solo flying course” - I assume its something part of this new Progressive Training thing? Can’t find/get told any information.
Thanks.

Actually, I think it is referring to the old Gliding Scholarships - blue wings for non-solo and silver for true solo.

GS is a desirable prerequisite for a proper flying scholarship, though that is kind of waived at the moment due to there being effectively little chance of achieving one for the time being.
