Hello everyone. I am in the arrivals lounge so to speak. I have done plenty of commissioned service in the SCC including commanding a unit for number of years but I have nt done anything in uniform for a good while too. Hopefully it will be fun and games…

Can’t believe no-one has replied yet - hello and welcome. Despite the grumbles on here!
I am only doing glass half full! I think unhappy people tend to post more than happy people. There is a lot of quiet happy folk in the air cadets, I am taking it!
I will also echo TMM welcome.
I was a cadet, then went Dark Blue for work and still am but still work as an SI. It took me a while but I can now chop and change between RN and RAF drill with ease and still often instruct cadets.
Be interested to hear why the change. I have now worked with the SCC, CCF, ACF and ATC amongst other uniformed organisations and I have to say, without bias, that the ACO is by far the best.
