Recently passed CIC. Also recently taken over as OC of my squadron as the previous OC took over a different squadron.

I was a cadet in the ATC and CCF back before the turn of the century (I left when I went to uni in 1998) and have only just got round to bringing myself back to the organisation.

A broad and diverse career spanning supermarkets, local government, engineering, flying, and most recently the ambulance service has given me a huge range of skills and knowledge. Most of it relevant to teaching our cadets.

Degree in aerospace engineering. Qualified as a commercial pilot but lost my medical as I was about to start type rating.

Hobbies include shooting of all sorts, both rifle and shotgun, lots of time in the countryside, foraging for wild foods, especially mushrooms. Also do a bit of amateur electronics.

Interesting fact. I used to be a professional zombie. Ask me about it some time.
