Banknotes issued by the Bank of England are about to get their first major redesign in more than 50 years.
So are we just ignoring the complete re-issue of all notes over the last 10 years, going from paper to polymer?

That’s not a redesign in the terms they’re talking. They’re looking at a break in the design philosophy on the rear entirely, moving away from historical figures to something else entirely.
Which reminds me of one of my favourite bank notes facts, the bridges on all of the EU notes didn’t exist, they were all facsimiles of similar bridges, but not real images so that no one country could claim to own them.
Until the Dutch built them all to match the notes.

People who put the entire message into the email subject line.
see that is a GMG and a favoured approach of a Wing SME.
rather than indicate in the body of the message - a chasing email will have the subject line: “names are due for AEF Escorts” 3 days ahead of his deadline and then send it out to his distribution and consider that suitable

1 - because the deadline is still days away, if they want it sooner, set the correct deadline
2 - because its lazy

The Bank of England has quite a sizeable opportunity to make these notes distinctive for the visually impaired.

Like different colours or different sizes you mean… oh
All they’d need to do is whack the font to max on the braille text

It’s also an insult, as if non KCs can’t be trusted as soon as a case has a bit of public interest.
