What to do when life demands more

You would only speak to them if you were absolutely resolute; letter in your hand, your decision made and all that you are doing is advising them, that from this date you will no longer be doing it. If not and the person you were speaking to is less than understanding, you could find yourself being talked into some level of commitment. My understanding of the OPs situation is that the ATC is providing problems he could do without while adjusting to his new life.
If any member of staff says it’s no longer for me, it should be thanks, all the best and the door’s always open, now forget about the ATC and do what’s best for you.

Agree - Huge achievement to keep going as you have… But yes, you’ll probably only get a break if you draw a line in the sand… Would missing 1 in 4 help or work for you? I’ve known Wing rally well if they’re convinced it’s 0.75 or 0… or would you give up wing to keep sqdn, or vice versa? Very best wishes whatever happens…

You have to find a work life balance. Family first. Work, Hobbies.
It took me a while to learn this. I dont have children, which I regret.
Dont feel pressured, we can only do what we can do.
Hope this helps.
