Sorry James - whilst I’m looking forward to further capability with Teams, I’m urgently checking whether there is any current function to deliver messages to my cadets through CP.
Otherwise this means I’ll still need to rely on Facebook for communication (no comment from HQAC…)
James. cracking work getting everything going on Teams and virtual parade nights. Not sure you have a day job with the amount of work you must do so a big thanks from us!
I have done the easy bit, the grunt work was by the Bader civil servants.
Yes, do have a very busy day job but working quite late into the night to get this stuff sorted out. Now that Teams has deployed, it should calm down a bit
It is a great step forward at a time of mostly retreat.
What we do need now is more material to use online. Not just classification stuff either. Stuff we can use for the whole Sqn.
A repository, centrally located on sharepoint. Rather than each Sqn or each wing creating and hoarding it’s own stuff. Now is the time to share, for the betterment of all.
Our cadets and staff appreciate everything you have all done. We got back up and running late night with our first virtual parade and cadet feedback was great. We had 24 cadets sign in.
I would close them, at least then you’ve got a record of who’s participating.
I can’t see what risks you can assess against, unless we’re going to talk about the horrors you might see on a cadets webcam, viruses etc from links posted to the chat log, and the horrors that might been exposed by screen-sharing . . .
