Recently Promoted Corporal Advice

Might be an area thing, but we were told we HAD to have MOI if we were to be accredited.

There was a memo via RRCOs/WRCOs a while back.

But yes the How To etc need updating if they are not consistent with what iDEA is offering.

That would be best practice.

Nothing to stop someone doing a Radio lesson as part of their MOI though, if that is their thing.

How is it the minutiae details of radio procedure take over 20% of all threads at some point…

It’s an immutable law of the universe

It’s probably also the most misunderstood thing we cover at the basic level, given shooting is no longer part of initial training.

think they call them maxwells laws or something

Well done on your promotion firstly,
When getting into being an NCO it seems daunting at first, there are so many things that you’re expected to know and do that you won’t, in the fist month or so keep low, still help and show leadership, just observe what the other NCO’s do.
Don’t change, i’ve seen so many NCO’s become Corporals and think they’re, they’re not, it makes all cadets loose respect for you and is very annoying for fellow NCO’s.

As long as you keep doing what you’re doing and showing full commitment and maturity you will progress in no time.
