Yep - & there will be a short break whilst the NRA legal officer takes a short break.
Iām not sure this is quite fair considering the extent to which many will involve themselves in shooting. Itās also still too early to have reached a broad enough audience and for all of those to properly digest what is said. Also, for us in roles as CFAV, itās pretty early in the process and (being a legislative and not policy issue) weāre so far removed from it and can only wait for the outcomes at each following stage, finishing with our internal policy. So thereās a large potential for apathy at this stage.
I suspect there will be significant pressure and valid justifications given to push this. We use MOD ammo on MOD sites - it should be a no brainer. Iām not sure how convincing an exposure of young people argument could be in reply considering the limited levels an individual would experience.
This is spot on, at this moment to RAFAC shooting people who donāt do it privately this is a desk officer issue.
I know the desk officer is aware of this and has been for some time, weāll have to see how the wider MOD see the effects.
