There will be no RAFAC parachuting at the only approved centre, (JSPW Netheravon) this year.

Due to HQAC not giving authority for parachuting to resume, the JSPW are not prepared to hold air cadet places on courses any longer and have offered them to other user groups.

For the umpteenth time, you are not dealing with the Joint Service centre. You are dealing with the Army Parachute Association.

That is the crux of the problem…

No we’re not. We went just before lockdown, but due to the weather the cadets couldn’t jump. I’ve just been in contact with the centre to rearrange. This information hasn’t been promulgated to our region, so I was not aware of the change - which leaves my cadets £160 out of pocket

Thanks for letting me know. I have spoken to my RATTO (who was unaware, so probably would have approved it) and he is going to look into it too.
