Well, that’s a concern of mine but I need to start planning as if it’s going ahead. It won’t be at cost to the public (although maybe VA will be applied for).
I’ve also been thinking of this so will follow this thread with interest!
VA and possible use of MT for the trip could be stoppers from their POV. I do hope not.
Personally, I think that monies should be set aside at Region/Wing level to subsidise such trips for educational purposes; think the ACF do!!

If VA is an issue we won’t have it and will do it at cost. I think it comes under core activity so it shouldn’t be a barrier but I know people like to arbitrarily make up rules.
