Spotify makes ‘difficult decision’ to drop Heardle

Curiously - I’ve seen that message pop up about HEARDLE… but it’s not mentioned about HEARDLE 80s or HEARDLE 90s…

I’m feeling my age that I struggle to get HEARDLE - but normally get the 80s/90s versions.

As such, I wondered if it’s a reflection on youngsters not being interested in such quizzes - where as is older participants enjoy the flashbacks to our youth?

My morning routine normally comprises of
Wordle
HEARDLE
“ 80s
“ 90s
Numble

And… Mini and Spelling Bee in the NYT. If you follow the link on Wordle, ylj can get a subscription for about £3 a month

The downside is that Mini (a mini crossword) and Spelling Bee both rely on words in the Webster’s (US) dictionary… so common Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Jewish words get included - but commonly used Scots or (English) English often get omitted…
