How on earth do you sell that one, as it must be used for all sorts of other things, so a week away on your doorstep can have little attraction.
When we had week long camps at Leuchars we never had problems for filling the places.
It depends on the station. It’s not too difficult if it’s a flying station. But trying to sell a week at RAF Innsworth (prior to it’s demise) was hard work!!!
For me, a week at the likes of RAF High Wycombe (playing dodge the scrambled egg and avoid saluting anything) would be a tough sell for me personally - but I know a number of glory seekers who love hobnobbing with the great and good in the officers mess!

Our Wing uses a Station within the Wing for additional camps (our WHQ is based there) and we manage to sell out 3 annual camps a year!

Plymouth and Cornwall went to Lossie for camp couple of years ago, travel was coach to Birmingham and then flight to Inverness.

i further stand corrected - i guess it is just us who get the local Stations!
And how much wexo is prepared to spend on transport costs.
