Your frustration ties into why I tried to get the SI’s the CFM.
Nobody gives this much time for a medal, but if I was wearing my reservist hat for this and still doing all the roles I do (sqn cdr, HQ secondary duty, DPSG secondary duty, and now running an annual remembrance parade and ceremony), I think I’d be a little frustrated after 12 years if someone wouldn’t give me the CFM on a TRF technicality…
Either you’re giving the cadet forces your time or you’re not. I really hope they sort that one out.
I’ve noticed locally that some of the L-L Commendations are not being given, I don’t know if RAFAC isn’t submitting the nominations, or the nominations are falling short.
Nah, all the permanent stuff got jealous and ordered them for themselves. Then they got told off for wearing items of uniform, so they secretly removed them form the uniform regs so they could be worn by civilians. And they hoarded so may that supply have run out for the rest of us.
There, that’s clearly why they’re not in the ACP and none of us can get them through stores
I literally think honours and awards could be an AI skill that leverages SMS records and personal statements into a correctly formatted nomination.
In fact it could be an entirely digital process in volunteer portal backed by AI and workflows, with clear transparency on who said yes or no and if no why
