Back when we had a fleet, I remember 612 at Abingdon doing these regularly. Great days out, well done to all the staff there.
I remember 636 doing this most years. Getting the whole sqn on duty for the day and getting cadets in shifts to fly. Making hay while the sun shines as they say.
I know weâre not flush with opportunities bit i feel sorry that this Cadet has got all the way to CWO and only now getting his first gliding opportunity in the UK premier youth flying themed organisations

My comment about the haircut is my opinion based on what I see. Long hair and a uniform dont go together.

I had 3 slots at 622 in a 14 day range and we got 15 cadets up.
Beneficial that we could accept the mid week slot which accounts for 10 of the cadets.
26% of the sqn flown within 2 weeks though

Just coincidentally, Iâve noticed a reduction in Tutors showing on the open source radar sites. Iâm wondering if the fix hasnât worked and theyâre now trying something new?
I believe that the first 2 airframes have accumulated 150 hrs on the engines, report is back on the first one - all good. Third airframe + associated report + by end of Sep?
