A skill is aeronautics, so Leading Cadet, etc, will suffice. Been using that option for years.

I have found a challenge with my cadets to find a physical and skill. So I have got some cadets who live out in the countryside don’t play any sports or part of any clubs/hobbies apart from cadets really. So struggle to what you get them to do. like ive got another who wants to do running but does it on his own which makes it difficult to provide evidence also nobody to be his assessor as it can’t be family.

You can be the assessor, if I wasn’t personally going to see the activity I would get them to keep a log of when they run and for how long (you can download from the DofE website but an excel sheet or even a written list will do).

Classifications can be used under “aeronautics” which is an easy win (they don’t need to pass the exam just know more at the end than at the start).

There are also loads of things outside of Cadets that count as skills which people don’t think of, stuff like building and painting Warhammer, or Dungeon and Dragons can be used as an example.
