CS95/MTP As a CI

Why the hell can’t this be sorted once and for all.
CIs get the rough end of the stick covered in poo as the organisation, but relies on them and in the next breath almost fails to recognise their existence, apart from thou shall not mentions in books.

It is high time the organisation decided exactly what it wants from CIs and how it is going to treat them.

I don’t go with the if they want to wear a uniform, apply for said position, because we want people who want to go into uniform because they want to. To this end if a CIs interest lies in FMS/shooting/WI, then just amend the rules to say as such, rather than this fug of when Jupiter is aligned with Uranus and Venus. The fact that people turn a blind eye at sqn and wing, is not reflected in the posts and emails that happen if someone catches wind of it. We get more reminders from our WWO about this than anything else.

Wearing DPM hasn’t been exclusive to the military for years and as such I can’t see what all the fuss is about.

Is it no wonder that many CIs feel like an underclass and take a uniform just so they can do what they enjoy doing, rather than maybe fully appreciating all the other aspects of being in uniform, that some on here are only to happy to comment on.

there are also those who cant wear the uniform having retired…two of our CIs are ex-uniformed members of staff, the argument (in bold) will always be invalid
