I can confirm it doesn’t work, although Microsoft support site says it should. Which suggests ‘we’ haven’t enabled it.
Its not quite ready for wide scale use yet…
The targets are behind them!
And i asked for an L98A2
No FPSS, and the hearing protection?
Produced with Gemini
The shooter appears to be using yellow ear cheeses. To some these do still appear to count as hearing protection.
Oh, i still use squiggles. I just never zoomed in enough.
In general ChatGPT is as good as the data you input. I use it for leadership/command tasks and varying up sports nights. The good thing about it, is how a quick statement can bring through options and you can easily fill a night off what ChatGPT has. Detailing the equipment and number of cadets you have and the space to play in and adding in time restraints/any other restraints
yet there are spent cartridges lying on the floor!
remember also ACP50 requires a Safety Supervisor in shot for RAFAC shooting activities
It’s a great tool but it’s hosting out with the UK and the data consumed into the backend AI data lake to support other external AI queries
So with the labelling to coming to effect to be aware of using it for drafting any marked material or existing marked material esp at OS and OS-P.
Hopefully there will be some further guidance from RAF digital which would flow down to RAFC
to also implement and amend accordingly
I certainly wouldn’t be putting any personal information into it. Same as at work, I’ll give it sample drawings or info to get a working bit of code, then run it locally on actual client stuff.
Using co pilot to do a bunch of analysis for volunteer trends at work - producing stats & reports with future trend that would have taken me three days in bout an hour.
Anyone tried doing something similar with anonymised data either for Sqn level or adults to spot trends & identify attrition rates etc?
talking with a couple of guys in the bike club last week and they are involved in 48 hour film project (see YouTube), where teams are given 48 hours to write, film and produce a short film that is then judged. A lot of them use AI for the script once an idea has been formulated.
Taking the 48 hour element away isn’t this a great idea for cadets to take part in? They could produce a film around any subject.
2 use cases today!
Gave it Google’s Longitude & Latitude and asked to convert to decimal to allow for use on SMS
Gave it my Admin Order for it to generate the Cadet Facing Blub, I’ve made a couple of minor tweaks but I think it’s more cadet friendly that my previous efforts!
Want to improve your shooting skills? XYZ Wing is running a live fire training day at TBC Range. It’s open to cadets who’ve already done L98A2 training and passed a WHT at some point (current or expired).
If you are selected, make sure to read the joining instructions so you are fully prepared for the day at the range.
Who can go?
- You must be enrolled and have done the initial L98A2 training.
- You need a WHT pass recorded on SMS (it can be expired – you can retake on the day).
- You must have completed Climatic Injury Training on SMS.
- Not open to anyone who already has a Bronze Shot on L98A2.
What’s Happening
Subject to time and individual progression you will have the opportunity to complete the following lessons, some of which result in the awarding of a shooting badge.
- L98A2 Cadet Live Fire Lesson 2: Introductory Shoot at 25 Metres (Prone) - Meet the standard and achieve Blue Shot!
- L98A2 Cadet Live Fire Lesson 3: Grouping at 25 Metres (Other Positions) - Can you meet the standards from the Sitting & Kneeling Positions
- L98A2 Cadet Live Fire Lesson 5: Zeroing at 25 Metres - Calculate the Mean Point of Impact (MPI), make sight adjustments and confirm a correct zero to achieve Bronze Shot!
Thanks. I hate it.
That makes me feel slightly queasy
Do we even have a AI policy? Thats normal in most orgs these days
If we do it should include a ban on prompts
that say ‘create a picture in the style of an Enid Blyton paperback cover’
Can just ask AI to make us an AI policy!
Famous 5 go air cadeting?
The hairs the wrong way round
I think that that might end up looking like one of the spoofed comedy versions…
