Will it cover the day to day reality / practicalities such as daily email checks, forwarding information to those needing it and doing this and other things away from the sqn.
It’s all well and good having an adj who has done on a course, but unless they are fully aware of the reality, they’re not much use.
I don’t want an adj who thinks they can/should be wedded to a computer every parade night.
I was thrown in at the deep end myself so I know from experience you have to be realistic about these sort of courses and explain how hard the job actually is and how often you end up forwarding data and updating files. And I learned to do as much as I could away from Squadron because otherwise like you say your stuck at the desk all the time.
be careful with condensed JSP 101s very few are actually correct. Quick scan on the one attached and their are a few key issues. e.g. italics not used for sub-headins if for anything and when it comes to annexes and appendixes there is a lot more than just putting ‘annex a’ in the corner and encloses are completely missed.
JSP 101 is not that hard so long it is used in the manner it is intended, as a guide not a bible.
sorry to be a kill joy… its a great too but the format measurements of the page borders and para no to words is wrong.
Weekly submissions of DW throughout training followed by assessing DW for 9 months makes you retentive. Even now I still check and edit DW for my bosses and I am not even a loggie.
