ACF Badging etc

The ACF alone is 50% the size of the regulars and 7K more than the Reserves, still a lot of kit.

With the Specialised Cap badges and Berets (Tam o’shanters The weird Irish one) and all the plumes, I can see why The standard corps beret with the already existing ACF/CCF Cap badges could be an appealing option

it’d also bring the ACF in line with the ATC and SCC who already use Independent cap badges

The CCF Is weird so i’ll leave them be

Do they have badges when they graduate from crayola to HB pencil?

That would make it a larger order than any existing cap badge. I just can’t see it.

Thinking about it, there is probably a larger ongoing requirement for ATC cap badges than RAF ones (and yet they still managed to make them the wrong size for the beret!)

Combining those orders would not only represent a saving, but would probably benefit the parent service through efficiencies of scale.

Harrogate and Sandhurst have their own cap badges, but everyone else wears their regt or corps identity from day one in uniform.

Additionally, there’s an RAC cap badge and I’m not sure when that is worn as opposed to individual cav regt / RTR badges.

Depends how the ordering is done, if the Regiments provide the bits and bobs for their cadets it probably helps their economy of scale.

As it could for the RAF.

Not sure about AFC, but at RAMS, it is Sandhurst cap badge for all 44 weeks, they only don Regt/Corps cap badges for about 30 mins post dynamic victory

Apparently the RFCA has the correct artwork, and the contractor edited it for some reason. We aren’t sure why!
