30 by 30……

1930 to 2130 twice a week for us. Hasn’t changed since I was a cadet back in the 80’s. If we started earlier, I’d probably wouldn’t be on the Sqn staff did to my finish time at work not giving me enough time to turn around.

Personally I don’t see the reasoning for a CFM for CI’s as they are there and have always have been for uniformed service, although other recognition could be given such as Lord Lieutenant certificates or even Commandant Air Cadets after 10 years CI moving to Lord Lieutenant certificate for 20 or similar. Retention of rank side of things is for me irrelevant I know, if I step down from the post I am in I am Fg Off RAFAC acting as. It’s not going to affect my day job or pension. Totally agreed with No 3’s and even go further to say personal allowance for AT kit for all staff uniformed or not.

I saw this the other day and although several mention of Cadet forces, I think air cadets is mentioned once in the whole video (I know they are following the ACF but they could have done a small piece about who the Cadet Forces are/formation of them)
